I applied through e-litmus. There was a written test(MCQ) and a programming test.
Written test had questions from algorithms, OS, networking , data structures, compilers etc. you can't wake up one day and crack the interview. It needs clarity of almost all comp sc subjects.
There were 42 MCQs and 1 programming test.

Question 1
OS questions included ques on fork, processes, file descriptors, address translational buffer. You need to be really strong in DS if u wanna crack this interview. Programming test included a weird program, more logical than technical question.

Resume selection through staffing agency, then Objective Technical Test (mostly previous years GATE question) covering all the fundamentals of computer Science viz. Database, Computer Networks, Data Structures, Algorithm, Computer Organization, Theory of Computations etc, followed by two face to face interview and the final HR interview

I got interview call through eLitmus. Initially they conducted a written test which includes both technical and little apti. Technical is mainly about data structures. The guys with good C language knowledge can crack the writer test.
Technical test: (15 Questions)
Which sorting algorithm uses divide and conquer policy?
Why array elements are stored in sequential memory locations?
What of the following sorting algorithm selects the maximum value and replaces it with last element?
How many comparisons does bubble sort makes?
etc.
Apti: (8 Questions)
You don't have to worry much about. It is very easy to crack.
