he interview process was pretty messed up, First they dont' know what position they are hiring for. They gave an assignment to build an OCR Software that could detect the PAN Card details from the given image. They are giving Machine learning problems for a frontend based role. Can you even imagine? This was the second red flag that I observed in this organization. (First red flag being the six days working culture)
Based on the assignment I could guess , the company don't have engineers that could solve their problem so they basically started sending their problem as an assignment for the candidates to solve it irrespective of the roles they are applying for. You can guess how good the CTO is when he himself doesn't understand the questions that he is asking but expects the candidates to solve it. When I explained my approach to the assignment, he noted the points and then started with the problems with a timer of 2mins to solve this problem. No question about time complexity or space complexity or how you are approaching to solve this problem. You can guess how good the company is when the CTO himself doesn't have his concepts clear and his arrogant nature just made me never want to join this organization and also leave a review on glassdoor for people to see.
My advice to anyone joining this company would be to run away from this company as soon as possible.
