I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Liberty Mutual Insurance (Rochester, NY) in Jun 2015
Interview
Phone call with recruiter, basic questions (walk me through your resume, why liberty mutual, why sales, etc). She told me right away that she would like to arrange an interview with a branch manager. Interview with manager was in person, lasted about an hour. Same sort of generic interview questions, be sure to have well though out answers before hand. After that, he went on to behavioral questions ("tell me about a time when..."). Overall, preparation is key to do well. Both recruiter and manager were super nice and both really loved it when I asked questions (go heavy on the questions for them).
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Walk me through your resume.
Why liberty mutual?
Tell me about your greatest achievement.
Tell me about a time when you had to manage conflicting priorities.
Tell me about a time when you had to explain and present complex information to a group of people.
Etc.
The interview was probably one of the worst interviews I have ever had. It was over the phone. The interviewer called and had a very thick accent which was hard to understand. Her line had a lot of static and it sounded like there was a fan blowing through the line. She had to hang up and call me back and the connection was still pretty

Interview
Super easy I met a couple people then they interviewed me and it went well honestly couldn’t have been better. Highly recommend to anybody looking for sales reps, specifically in New York.

Interview
Star method and lots of tell me about a time when questions. They might also ask you to sell them something like a pen. They are looking for you to ask needs defining questions and then ask for the sale or assume the sale
