I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Library of Congress (Washington, DC) in May 2016
Interview
The first forty-five minutes consisted in one-sided questions. The last fifteen minutes consisted in details about actual job duties. The interviewers were friendly and professional. They read the questions off of the federally generated form and recorded answers. It wasn't until the end of the interview that the full disclosure of the job was revealed.
