I was contacted by a recruiter. Provided some availability and set up time for an initial one hour phone call. The call was with a lead engineer, general intro/about the position and company. Asked about experience and background. Then quickly dove into a leetcode medium question. I got most of the way there, but the interviewer guided me to the final solution which ultimately led to the rejection. Understandable. The interviewer had a very strong background in the field so I immediately had the understanding the hiring bar here is very high as they work on some complex problems making me all the more interested. Only had the chance to interview with one person, but overall it was a quick and great experience.
