I had an Initial call with a recruiter, followed by a take home test. Interview with 2 leads and then the offer was made the same day. Offer was negotiable. Recruiter mentioned that due to no bonus being offered, role was remote.
The process had three stages: an initial screening, a video interview with the lead engineer, and a multi-stage in-person interview. I failed the technical portion of the second round, they gave me a threading problem, which I wasn't expecting. The recruiter did mention OOP and threading as focus areas beforehand, but I doubted they would ask an actual threading programming question. I was expecting LeetCode style or OOP design questions.

Interview
It was really the worst interview experience.
Hiring manager was rude. He suddenly muted himself for a call during the interview, I checked the screen and found out he was on a call. He tested me C++ coding, and said what I was doing was wrong, but I found out he didn't really know C++, he probably is a Java developer. They have a salary range on the JD, but the lower side is actually the higher side, recruiter told me it at the beginning, then why did you post the range?
