Linedata interview questions

The interview process was good. There was an aptitude round first, and then 2 rounds of interview. The aptitude was slightly difficult as the options were close enough. The questions asked in the interview were also great.

The L1 round was a technical round with questions based on Typescript, Rest API, ReactJs and NodeJs. Database related discussion did not happen. The L2 round was scheduled but the panel did not attend the call. I waited in the call for 10 mins with no communication. Then the HR scheduled a F2F L2 round for which I was invited to the office. Once again the interviewer was late by 45 mins. He came in and did not even apologize. At this point I am not surprised. The interviewer judged me on the basis of my experience and not my capability. He asked me if I have used a particular CSS component library in React but I have used similar ones which he was not interested in listening to. He asked me whether I have used a particular ORM and again I mentioned I have not used that in any production app but I am aware how it can be used. This round was fully theoretical with 0 coding. Throughout the interview he was busy attending calls on his phone which was very frustrating. Though I admit I could have handled my responses to his questions better but this is no way to conduct a technical interview. I guess they prefer somebody who have used particular tools and not somebody who is capable enough to use any tool. Overall pretty disappointed with the process.
