I applied online. The process took 5 weeks. I interviewed at LinkedIn (London, England) in Jul 2018
Interview
Phone screen with in-house recruiter followed by face to face with hiring manager.
I was disappointed with the process at Linkedin. It didn't give me a good feeling about the company. I applied for the role online and got shortlisted for a phone screening with the in-house recruiter, who seemingly didn't understand the role that was being recruited for. I then had to chase for feedback several times before being told I was going through to a face to face interview. However at no point was it mentioned that a) this was a B2C role (I have a CV filled with B2B experience that was clearly not what the hiring manager was looking for) and b) the questions being asked didn't seem to reflect the job description I had read online.
It was clear to me that the interview hadn't gone well. However had I known what the role was I would not have gone to the interview. I then chased for feedback over the following weeks but never received any notification that I had not been successful.
Overall a very disappointing experience from a company I previously had huge respect for.
