I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at LinkedIn
Interview
I applied through the LinkedIn website and was contacted by a recruiter to set up an interview. The interview itself was very friendly and laid back. The recruiter told me about the different positions available within the data science department, and how the entire department was structured. According to the recruiter, there's usually a first (phone/skype) interview with a recruiter, a second (phone/skype) interview with one of the team leaders, and a third (fly-in) interview.

I applied online. I interviewed at LinkedIn (New York, NY)
Interview
It was quick, efficient, and not too challenging. I was asked 8 questions and the interview was more of a dialogue. It felt more like a conversation. I enjoyed it and would recommend applying to LinkedIn.
