After two interviews, one with HR and one with the head of marketing, I was ghosted. If I give you 90 minutes of my life, I expect at least a basic rejection email in return please.
They wanted to see if I'm a "culture fit" first, then HR sent an optional assignment, but the marketing person said it was a mistake :) That the assignment shouldn't have been sent till after the second interview. The assignment is also part of a bounty program for devrels, and it felt like they wanted to profit of people interested in the job. It indeed was paid, but they would pay you 50% of what they would normally pay a person that is not interviewing for the job.
