First interview was more of a meet up with HR in office where she went over details of the position, pay structure, etc. After I confirmed I was still interested in the position, a phone interview was arranged with the owner, the HR rep, and a member of the bank who funds the HELOCs. I was told twice they were "early in the interview process" despite seeing a signup sheet of people coming in for interviews that dated back over a month. And yet I was offered a job the very next day with a start date a couple of weeks out. I was told they're waiting on others to accept in order to start a training class.
The week I was to come in to meet & accept an offer letter, HR notified me that they cancelled the training class and rescinded the offer with no reason provided. Very frustrating and it's just strange that they hadn't filled the position with so many people signing in for interviews over a month back, yet management claiming they were "early" in the interview process, then suddenly having enough candidates to put offers out the day after my interview, to cancelling everything altogether.
