Three round interview. First: Ask about résumé and prior experience. Second: In office technical questions. Third: Take home project build an application. I passed the third round interview and was brought in to meet the team. The CTO of a company greeted me and said I was the only one to complete the project, and that I did good work. He said he looked it over himself. I was introduced to the team I would be working with and shown the desk where I would sit. I was told that I would receive a phone call the next day extending the offer and pay. The call never came. I followed up and was rudely told that they would get to it, and that they were busy. The next day I received a very generic letter telling me that they had decided to not hire me.
