Disorganized and Disappointing Interview Process I interviewed for a role at Lob and had a very confusing experience. After an initial phone screen, I was scheduled to meet with the hiring manager on the Friday before Christmas. Unfortunately, the hiring manager didn’t show up for the scheduled call. The recruiter informed me they would follow up, but I didn’t hear anything until I received a rejection email on Christmas Eve. The lack of communication and clarity left me uncertain about what went wrong. It’s unclear if the recruiter failed to properly present my resume to the hiring manager before scheduling the call, or if the team was already far along in the hiring process with another candidate and neglected to inform me. Either way, the process felt disorganized and unprofessional, especially with the abrupt rejection after no updates or explanations.
