Overall, relatively straightforward process.
1st stage interview, 2 home tasks, 2nd stage interview.
I was told I excelled in my 1st interview with the introductory and competencies based questions, as well as my home tasks. I received such positive feedback and was looking forward to the 2nd stage interview.
Then after the second stage interview, it was again more competencies and situational based. It was again another pretty straightforward one. I said in my interview that I could forget to ask for support sometimes but it is something that I am actively trying to improve. This apparently was one of the deciding factors, because I am used to working solo and therefore it will be such a struggle for me to work in a team.
Moreover, I was told I was too ambitious for the trajectory of this role and the structure of the organisation. I was told they had offered someone else a job who was better qualified.
Just to find out a few days later that they didn't actually hire anyone and were still actively looking.
