Long Motor Corp interview questions

I was applying for an IT position based on the decades of experience shown on my resume. Upon meeting the interviewer, who I can only assume actually read the resume, I was offered a position packing truck freight. I was promised that I would be in line for the next open IT position while I temporarily packed truck parts. Having just been evicted for inability to pay rent during covid, I took the position. I never saw that HR rep ever again, still work in the warehouse, and get to see IT staff once in awhile.
