I applied online. I interviewed at Lordco Auto Parts in Dec 2025
Interview
I had a phone interview on December 4th, 2025, that lasted less than 10 minutes. The hiring manager admitted that HR had been repeatedly posting an incorrect job description and title. They were actually looking for an IT Security Specialist, not an IT Systems Administrator! I spent days preparing for a role that didn’t even exist—a complete waste of time and a huge disappointment.

Question 1
Describe your experience with securing large enterprise environments.
I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Lordco Auto Parts (Port Coquitlam, BC) in Dec 2025
Interview
The process started with a brief phone screening with the CIO. He asked about my background, basic information, and overall fit, and explained the role in general. The following week, I was invited to an in-person interview with the CIO and another manager.
The interview included mostly behavioral and background questions, along with a few high-level technical questions. There were no coding questions. The atmosphere was relaxed and conversational, more like a casual discussion than a structured interview. However, it felt somewhat random at times, and I didn’t feel that I was given a clear opportunity to fully demonstrate my technical abilities.
