I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Louis Vuitton (Dallas, TX) in Oct 2020
Interview
In the month of October I received an email from the HR manager for LV to schedule a brief interview with her. That interview felt like a very productive conversation as opposed to an interview which was a good thing. I was told that I would interview with 3 Sr Managers and a Director at the end. I interviewed with all 3 Sr Managers and after the last interview I never heard anything back even after my follow up email; I followed up with each person I interviewed with FYI and no response. At this point I am still not sure if I’m being considered for a future role or if I wasn’t the right fit since I didn’t hear anything after 4 interviews with LV. I heard negative things about the interview process but I went into it assuming my experience would be a positive one. I thought the process was going great but once the process went flatline, it was evidence that maybe they found someone else. If I could give some advice it would be to close the process , tie up loose ends one way or the other out of courtesy and professionalism. I was looking forward to hearing from someone and potentially starting a career with LV after 4 interviews so it’s disheartening that they just left me wondering where I stood regarding my candidacy. I would still love to know what happened honestly.

Question 1
Tell me about how you deliver feed back to your teams in your precious roles?
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Louis Vuitton (Paris) in May 2024
Interview
Entretien cabinet de recrutement dans un premier temps puis et Responsable des Ressources Humaines dans un second temps. Très accès sur les faits et exemples concrets de ce que vous avez fait.
I applied and it took only a few days before I was contacted by a team manager regarding opportunities with the maison. They were trying to get call scheduled asap. The call by the manager was a screen about 15 minutes long. The call touched on background, previous roles, goals/aspirations and asking “why Louis Vuitton?”. They ended the call by asking for my upcoming availability, but then I never heard back from them. I reached out a week later to follow up and still did not hear back until another week later saying that they had moved forward with another candidate, and they would keep me in their considerations. However, the role was re-posted only a few days after. I interview candidates weekly for various brands so it’s a little upsetting that it appears they couldn’t be more forthcoming.
Screening interview to go through my experience When going through my resume, she would make remarks that were dismissive of my experience. "You're isolating yourself". Eventually said that I was not what they're looking for, but then proceeded to continue with the interview for another 10 minutes? Not sure what the point of that was. At the end she basically said that positions like these are almost always internal hires, and that the best way to get a position like this is to work your way up. So why interview external candidates in the first place?

Question 1
Asked about metrics used to hold people accountable. Lots of interest in accountability and about if I ever had to fire someone.
