1) 30-min video call with HR
2) 30-min video call with Hiring Manager (Same questions as HR(?). This interview was rescheduled twice with their fault.)
3) 30-min video call with VP of Technology (This one was supposed to be a technical interview(?). nearly laying down VP rolling in a chair, didn't ask a single prepared question, just asked me to tell him about my experience and then "tell more" on anything I said, basically he didn't google even common interview questions for this position to ask me something, so I had to talk about irrelevant things he was interested in.)
Asked VP about 4th interview and he literally said he doesn't know what it's gonna be about, since they didn't think that far yet. But said it shouldn't be technical either.
4)(!) yes, 4th interview, they rescheduled this one, too. This interview was supposed to be in office, with all the same people mentioned above (why?) and would last 3 hours. HR was busy, so HR part of this interview was moved to another day again (would be 5th interview).
I came to the office, Hiring manager met me and honestly told me that does not know why she was asked to reinterview me, so we just talked about all the same stuff as last time she interviewed me.
She went to invite VP to interview me next, but came back saying he's busy and HR will email me about rescheduling.
HR emails me next week saying they're moving on with other candidates.
Same HR told me a few days ago that they interviewed a 100 people and I'm the only candidate who moved to 3rd interview.
And I know exactly why. Lugano has no QA's in their team, they were looking for a skilled QA who does both Auto and manual, and can set up all the quality processes and frameworks from scratch (This's called Sr. QA Engineer or QA Automation Engineer and should be costly for the company).
Instead, they decided to look for a QA Associate(!) with all the same amazing qualities and pay them twice less of what they're worth, since they're just an "associate".
In the end HR ignored my email and text asking about what went wrong with the interview and how I can improve.
This whole interview process took me a month of my time, and good money to get business attire for an in-office interview for this luxury retail company.
