1) Their HR did not share the JD, as a result, given the fact that they had my CV already, I assumed that it was for a relevant position in IT domain. Although Lumen, erstwhile Centurylink, is a Telecom company, but still they have some IT competency. But my assumption was wrong. The position was for a mixed domain, with higher weightage on Telecom.
2) For this role, they asked me to prepare solution architecture with description, project timeline, and cost. While during the interview I got to know that the position requires neither solution design, nor project mgmt, nor pricing. It was a sheer wastage of my time and effort !!
3) During the interview, the HR asked me to turn on my camera. But the interviewer and HR both kept their cameras turned off!! By any standard of communication etiquette, this is unacceptable, illegal, and unethical. This shows how unfairly they treat their employees. If this is how they treat a potential colleague, then it is not difficult to understand their poor & exploitative HR policies.
I would NEVER recommend any friend to join this organization.
