Interview
Recruiter emailed me me to set up a phone interview. However, she never called me or followed up.
The following week the recruiter set up another call due to missing the previous one, on terms that she was out of town. The interview was about an hour long and she told me she'd follow up the following week. She made it sound like the company was run by egotistical leadership...and based on the other reviews I've read on here, it seems the leadership is that way. She never followed up. Several weeks go by and I decided to send a follow up email. She proceeded to set up another interview with me to which I agreed. I did question why I needed to have another call with HER after already speaking to her for an hour. During my second call she began the interview the same way she did the first time, and I realized...SHE FORGOT SHE INTERVIEWED ME. I actually asked her why she was asking me the same questions as my first interview and she said the leadership needed more clarity??? Needless to say the interview with her did not go well because she asked me the same exact questions as the first time and it was quite irritating.
She then called me to ask me if I'd be interested in a role completely junior to the role I was in at the time and junior to the role I was applying for. Why would I be interested in that??? She never followed up on the position I originally applied for.

Interview
Very straightforward process - typical screening interview with hiring manager, then a case study to map out a business process, and final round onsite with four 1:1 interviews.
Nothing out of the ordinary here. Case study was simple and heard back within a day on getting an onsite. Walked through my experience with each interviewer and why I'm interested and fit for the role. Also walked through the case study with the hiring manager. It was a relaxed atmosphere and each interviewer was kind and respectful, though their energies seemed low. I heard back a week later that I did not get an offer. I didn't think it was a good fit culturally for me so I'm glad how things ended up. I appreciated the prompt follow-up after each round.

Interview
Phone interview, writing assignment, video interview, 4 hour in person interview, 45 minute presentation. After all this work, they decided to transition an internal candidate to the role. Huge work effort was a waste of everybody's time.
