Had two interviews with the company. Unfortunately, one of the executives at Lyft contacted executives in with current employer before ever interviewing me and without my permission. This placed me in a precarious position with my current employer. Had they asked, I could have discussed this with my current boss and allowed them to discuss my work with her. Yet, after two interviews and them reaching out to my employer without my permission forcing me to explain to our leadership team why I applied for the position, they did not give me a job. This was highly unprofessional and disrespectful. Do not apply for a position at this company if you are afraid of someone contacting your current employer.
