I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Lyft (Boston, MA) in Aug 2014
Interview
Met up for 30 minutes. We went over some do's and don't's. It was hardly an interview, more of a formality and to check over that I did, in fact, know how to drive well. After the driving session and chat was over, I went on my way and was a driver within the week. It really wasn't difficult at all. Nothing to stress about, whatsoever.

Question 1
There weren't really questions, just information to be shared.
I applied through other source. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Lyft (Austin, TX) in Jan 2025
Interview
You download the app, you start the application process, giving them your license plate #, social security, DL #, a Profile photo, Car insurance, TX Registration sticker info, and consent to a background check; when they've verified your info and your BG check has been cleared, then you're good to hit the road.
No interview just have a good driving record with a positive background check and everything should be good to go from there and wait a few days until you you get an email that your background and driving record is positive
No interview, just fill out driver application on app and go get registered in person. Super easy. Get insurance approval and car inspected. Your car must meet the vehicle requirements in order to begin driving.
