Did an on campus interview, the interviewer and his wife was there. Both working at LyondellBasell. The wife asked some questions before the actual interview since it was a rolling process. Just basic questions such as what's your dream job, why do you want to work here, etc. Very casual. The actual interview was much the same, did not ask how pressing questions, just general such as what's your strength and weakness, etc. Only company related was, out of these industries which one would you prefer and why. Pretty straight forward interview, they were only looking for 2 or 3 interns and I was not selected.
I applied through university. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at LyondellBasell (Houston, TX) in Oct 2015
Interview
I met recruiter in University career fair, and 3 days later I had an interview. Recruiter was about 26 27yrs old, and I had more than 16 yrs experience, he ask me basic interview question and i think i gave him very good example and answers, but 1 month later I got email it says I'm not qualified. This is ridiculous, I had a lot experience with same role. I think only reason I'm a foreigner and I have an accent.
