      Interview

Don’t waste your time interviewing with them! In the initial rounds, they gave the impression that they had a strong compensation band and that my expectations were within range. I asked them twice this is my minimum expectation, is that okay? Based on that, I went through multiple interview rounds and aced them. Only after everything was done, HR came back saying their maximum budget was much lower than what was discussed earlier. This was not negotiation. This was a bait-and-switch. Honestly, this felt like a scam and showed the behaviour of a typical LALA company with no respect for candidates, their time, or basic hiring transparency. If they already knew their real budget, they should have said it upfront instead of wasting people’s time. Be careful. Get the compensation range in writing before interviewing here, otherwise you may end up wasting your time like I did.
