      Application

I applied online. I interviewed at M/C/C (Dallas, TX) in Jul 2017

      Interview

My interview experience was exactly as others are describing here. The president of the company was arrogant and made me ask him question after question. This made the conversation very choppy and not at all conversational like a normal first round interview. After that first meeting, I felt uneasy and uncomfortable. He did not try to get to know my character as a person nor how I am as an employee. I would not recommend applying to this company at all. Too many red flags!!

      Interview

The process was quite strange. The president of the company sat with me in a conference room and began by asking me about 3 questions. The questions were basic level, get to know you questions but nothing about my qualifications. He then asked me to ask him questions for him. I felt this was unusual only because he hadn't asked me a single job relevant question yet. I had a few prepared, but he seemed to already have his speech planned out, no matter what I said. None of his answers straightforwardly told me what I asked about. Instead he went on a random rants about how distracted Millennials are and how they are babies who quit as soon as the going gets tough (he seemed very judgmental, rude, and jumped to conclusions based on age). At one point, he told me that college does not in any way prepare students for work and that working hard in it and having a good GPA means you haven't learned to fail enough for the job. The man talked probably 80% of the interview. After the way he came off, I was quite sure I wasn't going to get the job. He seemed to have made up his mind on me by the many judgements he brought up throughout the interview. I understand his negative approval. Only suggestion I could give people going to the interview is to prepare to be talked down to (as in don't get angry, just go with it) and have questions prepared to ask him (even though he probably won't answer them fully)
