I applied online. I interviewed at MERIT CRO (Philadelphia, PA) in Aug 2024
Interview
Everyone was nice and extremely professional. They kindly answer questions and make you feel welcome, even in the interview. Overall, it was a very positive experience and I believe a good reflection of their company.
I applied through other source. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at MERIT CRO in Sept 2024
Interview
There are 2 rounds of interview. The interview questions were straight-forward and general. I just tried to be professional and answer all questionsto the best of my knowledge. Both of my interviews were virtual, the first being with the HR and then the second interview was with the hiring manager.
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at MERIT CRO (Madison, WI) in Aug 2023
Interview
I am posting this to inform company leadership and other candidates: I applied for the open position online at the company website. The next day I was invited for a virtual interview. The virtual interview went very well. Lots of positive energy. I asked the interviewer if there was a good fit or anything to hold me back. The interviewer told me, "You have what they are looking for." and forwarded my application to the hiring manager. A week and one day later, I was invited to another virtual interview with the hiring manager. On the day of the second virtual interview with the hiring manager, less than 2 hours before the interview, I received an email stating: "Just wanted to let you know, we have to cancel our interview this morning. We are looking at reorganizing our department structure and requested to put this position on hold for now. Will contact you once a decision has been made about position. Sorry for any inconvenience this has caused and please feel free to reach out if any questions." I responded: "While I was truly excited and looking forward to meeting with X today, I certainly appreciate you letting me know about these developments. I respect the decision to hold on hiring for this position and I look forward to hearing from you again soon with an opportunity to continue the interview process." Meanwhile, I continue to see the exact same position advertised as "open" on the company website and social media. Exactly 2 weeks later from the date of the canceled interview, the company posted a specific LinkedIn post for the same "on hold" position, inviting people to apply. I reached back out to the company contact who told me the position was "on hold" -- reiterating my interest in the position. Almost 2 weeks after sending my email, I have yet to receive a response. As I write this, I checked the company website again and the exact same "on hold" position is advertised as it was initially when I applied.
