      Java Programmer Interview

      19 Nov 2014
      Anonymous employee
      Tampa, FL
      Accepted offer
      Positive experience
      Easy interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at MHK (Tampa, FL)

      Interview

Process was very quick. Sent in my resume, got a callback to discuss the resume. Very brief. We haggled over money for a few days and I got the offer I wanted by the end of the week. On starting day, CTO took the new programmers aside, made sure we were ok with working 50+ hour weeks and then sent us off to work with the others.

      Interview questions [1]

      Question 1

The hardest part was negotiating salary and even that wasn't hard. It was a very softball interview. In retrospect, the first couple of months were the real interview. Most people either quit very quickly or like it and stick around.
