Interview
Very technical; spoke everyone to the team. Be very good with your technical papers. They ask you very detailed mathematicalk questions about your work, however it depends on the kind of work you do. Both math & value of your work are important.

Question 1
Explain the value of your last publication and what it does?
a smooth process but very difficult, so people needs to be careful on the questions and be very well prepared for the interview. I enjoy the conversation with the professor and the communication with the HR, I think it is very nice
Very long process, which is understandable since it is among the top universities in the world. But it is a one-way street in terms of communication. No good feedback on performance. Some people can come off as rude instead of being polite and direct.
The process took 3 months. I interviewed at MIT (Cambridge, MA) in Feb 2021
Interview
The interview was a series of one on one meetings with the professor that lasted over a course of two to three months. It was an arduous process to convince the prof to hire me and allow me to continue my project that I have done in my phd program.
