one round with explanation about research experience in the past. Not really based on rigorous undergrad background, technical questions about research were asked occasionally. professor reached out 2 hrs after the interview to confirm admission.

How did you evaluate the correctness of your computational techniques without experimental evidence?
Meet with admission faculty committee which consist with about 5~6 young professors. Started with self intro, then they ask some interview questions... They also allowed applicant to ask them question towards the end of the interview.

The most difficult research challenge and how did I handle it.
In person interview with Professor at his office. Asked about my experience in the class topics and previous teaching and working with students experience. Discussed the logistics of the course, expectations and hours. Overall very good experience and I was briefed on what the job would entail.

There isn't one, I'm just forced to write a review to get on here. No calls or zooms or whatever. I did some phone calls to get a sense of some of the professors and their labs but it wasn't mandatory.
