      Aviation Systems Safety Engineer Interview

      3 Oct 2016
      Anonymous interview candidate
      Mc Lean, VA
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at MITRE (Mc Lean, VA) in Sept 2015

      Interview

After a brief phone screening was invited to the F2F interview (they flew me to D.C and accommodated with a good hotel). The 1st impression was that the HR didn't remember any details about the previous phone screening and asked to repeat everything again (that might have been done intentionally). The interview schedule was changed. I have been interviewed with about 7 people in total. The questions were not technical but rather about personality and to see how good the candidate would fit the team. The team is relatively yang I have to admit but nothing wrong at this point. Apparently the I got thumbs down right after my trip back. The HR didn't provide the details on their decisions other than poor explanation about their feelings. That said, the company is definitely the good company to work for but keep in mind the information that I have provided.

      Question 1

The questions were about personality, nothing really to share, sorry.
