I was contacted by a recruiter and provided a description of the role. After I expressed interest, I met with the hiring manager. He was very laid back and asked mostly situational questions. A week or so passed, and I was invited back for a second interview with the director of the department. He was extremely knowledgably and went into day-to-day details about the position. During the second interview, I was not asked any situational questions but just asked to describe my background and how I would be a good fit for the role. Two weeks later, I was asked to meet with the CEO and COO of the company. They asked challenging behavior based questions. Management seems to really care about finding the right fit for the company. The interview process was lengthy, but this was the recruiter's fault.
