Including the recruiter screening, I ended up doing 7 interviews for an individual contributor role which gave an overall negative experience. The people I met with were friendly, but a lot changed during my 1.5 months of interviewing -- the original recruiter left the company, the person who referred me to the job was laid off, and one of the senior leaders I interviewed with also left. There was a lot of emphasis on being someone with a founders mindset (which I have) but in a way that made me question the culture being too much hustle with not enough resources and came off as a potentially highly stressful work environment. Everyone always seemed way too busy through my interactions with the team and the process felt too drawn out, especially for the level of the role I was applying for.
