Interview was very friendly and easy-going. Lasted 30-45 minutes as a first stage with a mixture of competency/personality questions. Company culture seems great, takes employee wellbeing very seriously and want someone who prioritises a healthy work-life balance and understands the elastic nature of a start-up.

Question 1
How do you meet deadlines/ What qualities do you look for in a manager/ Why a start-up?
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at MYNDUP in Aug 2023
Interview
My interaction with Mynd Up was disheartening. The recruitment process, though quick with 2 interviews in 3 days, felt rushed and impersonal. Recruiters were aggressively pushy, disregarding my need for time to decide on an offer. I attempted to provide feedback directly, only to have the offer rescinded, an unexpected response from a company supposedly valuing mental health. I was inclined to accept the role; I simply needed more time to make an informed decision - understandably this is an important and big decision. Shockingly, I discovered the recruiters were also investors, which explained their behavior. This raises concerns about Mynd Up's commitment to their proclaimed values. Be cautious before considering them as an employer.

Question 1
Experience based, start up questions, why do you want to work in MH etc
Lots of opportunities to have in-depth conversations with the Founder. The onboarding process was great too. A company with a real vision and desire to do good. Meet with most of the team and was able to see under every stone.
