I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Mad Mobile (Tampa, FL) in Apr 2017
Interview
Phone screening, in person technical interview nothing intense mostly conversational with a bit of white boarding but nothing stressful. Then I received one more phone call extending offer and all negotiations took place over the phone with CFO.

I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Mad Mobile (Tampa, FL) in Apr 2019
Interview
Brief phone interview with HR followed by a phone interview with an engineer. Didn't hear back at all, waited two weeks to hear back after the first phone interview. Then ghosted
First Stage: A phone screen with a recruiter, basic screening questions about my background, experience etc. Positive outcome.
Second Stage: A joint phone call with a team leader and the same recruiter. Positive outcome. 'We will contact you via email around XXXXX date about scheduling an on-site final interview! Looking forward to meeting in person!' etc.
Didn't hear from them around the date, checked in a week afterward, no response. Waited even more, checked in a final time, no response.
Conclusion: Extremely unprofessional end to an otherwise pleasant and satisfactory interviewing experience. There really is no reason to NOT send a note or otherwise indicate you intend to cancel / go back on an offer to a final interview for a role.
