Interview
Wow! I was blown away by the thoughtfulness in the interview process. I’ve never seen anything like it in this industry. Every person was so incredible kind and professional. I did a one way audio call, recruiter screening, DM interview, a panel interview, President of stores interview and finally a CEO interview. I found it incredible that you get to meet every tier of the company along the way. It was stressful, but everyone I interviewed really gave me a space that was welcoming and warm so I could perform my best. We did have some schedule mix ups but all were communicated about well. This company is extremely thoughtful about who they hire and I honestly really appreciate that,

Interview Experience – Unprofessional Communication & Ghosting
I had a 3/6 interview process with this company, and while parts of it were positive, the overall experience was disappointing and ultimately unprofessional.
My first interview with the recruiter started off friendly, but she seemed distracted and repeatedly put me on hold, even once without saying anything, right in the middle of our conversation. She apologized and we continued, and she spent a good amount of time talking up the company: how supportive they are, how available she’d be throughout the process, and how I could call or text her with any questions. Based on that conversation, I expected a respectful and communicative process.
I completed my third interview on a Friday and was told I would hear back from the recruiter on Monday regarding next steps. Monday came and went with no update. I followed up on Tuesday and never received a response. It’s been two weeks so I have clearly been ghosted.
For a company that promotes values like responsibility and trust, this behavior was extremely disappointing. It takes very little time to send a simple email informing a candidate they are no longer moving forward.
After reading other Glassdoor reviews, it’s clear this pattern of ghosting candidates is not new. I also noticed the company actively responds to reviews, both positive and negative. So my message to Madison reed is this: instead of spending time replying to reviews to apologize for this repeated behavior, consider putting that same effort into responding to candidates directly and fixing the pattern.
