I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Mambu in Jul 2022
Interview
First step (7/13 & 7/20): A recruiter reached out to me via LinkedIn based on my profile matching their position needs. I spoke back and forth with the recruiter a couple times. They were very quick to get an interview scheduled. The recruiter did miss our initial interview, but that was because she has a family emergency. She was very responsive in letting me know this and our second attempt was very successful! After our conversation she stated she'd be recommending me to move onto an interview with management.
Second step (7/25): I interviewed with my now manager (manager of the team you'd work with I assume?) and we had a great conversation. She described the role in great detail, asked me a ton of questions to see if I really was a good fit. She opened the floor for me to be able to ask questions as well. The interview went very well and she stated we'd be moving onto the next step.
Final step (8/1): Prepare a presentation as if you work for Mambu, and present it to your possible teammates. This step was quite rough to prepare for and I was very nervous... but it went great! I had never done anything like this but I just ended up presenting a project like I would at my current job. The team asked me a lot of really great questions about my process, my background, etc. They were all so welcoming and made me feel very at ease. I was able to get a feel of the team before even working for the company, which is something you don't often get to do.
By 8/4 I was offered the position with Mambu. The recruiter reached out via phone to let me know and then I had to formally accept via email by signing the acceptance letter.
As far as processes go, I was kept in the loop the entire time. Recruitment was very responsive and helpful. I was able to ask questions about the presentation expectation and get guidance on how to proceed.
