I applied online. I interviewed at Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust (Manchester, England)
Interview
Set of six questions across a panel of 2/3 members, based on a scoring system.
Interview is only easy if you prepare well; learn about the national cancer waiting targets and make sure you understand the role inside out.
Speak to a treatment pathway or MDT co-ordinator if you can.
They will try to see if the personal statement from your NHS application matches the person they interview!

Interview
Interview follows the NHS standard where questions are based on an understanding of NHS values and directly reference the Person Specification. The trust using points system which can often be found online for similar roles, make sure you include these buzzwords as they will be directly or indirectly used to award points, the higest points score gets the job, thisis to reduce personal bias from the interview panel. (In practice the higher the band the job the less the panel will need to hear the word and more likely to check that off if the concept is understood and demonstrated by the candidate. If you get an interview you will be offered the opportunity to discuss after the fact even if you don't get the job which can help with future interviews. Importantly if you are a strong candidate and anothe role for which you may be suited comes in within 3 months you can be offered it without another interview, doesn't happen often but it does happen.
