Cons
The process becomes highly unorthodox during the final stages with senior leadership. I was asked a series of questions regarding my high school and college GPA, as well as my involvement in after-school clubs and sports ... factors that have zero bearing on my years of professional experience or ability to perform the role. During the conversation with the CEO, the tone felt skeptical and dismissive, which made for an uncomfortable candidate experience. Ultimately, despite my extensive background at much larger companies, the role was offered to a candidate with no prior experience.
