I applied in-person. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Maple Leaf Farms (Milford, IN) in Aug 2011
Interview
This is a slaughter house type plant. You fill out application. They check your references and then take you on tour to make sure you can handle being around blood, etc. and explain about the sanitary rules. Then you have to pass a small physical with the company nurse. Because some jobs require heavy lifting.

I applied in-person. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Maple Leaf Farms (Milford, IN) in Dec 2016
Interview
Filled out a paper application, had a 1-1 interview the following week. Due to high turnover, they interview in batches (bring your ID's!), which takes ~30 minutes per person (with HR). If you/they are still interested, you go on a quick tour of the work area, but due to the loudness it is difficult to hear and ask questions while in the production area.

Question 1
Questions are fairly basic and straight forward: Previous experience, general duties to be performed, physical requirements and can you meet them, etc.
