It was awkward. The teammates who were in the call barely spoke, and only shared about their work when prompted. I do not sense any camaraderie within the team, which was astonishing for a function that requires mutual collaboration between cross functional teams. 10 minutes into the Director's rapid fire of questions, I quickly realized this role was not for me, as it's a consultative role that mainly provides guidance and recommendation to properties under the team's purview. I just wished a screening was done before arranging this interview for me. Definitely not a pleasant experience.
