I applied in-person. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Marshalls (Charlottesville, VA) in Sept 2009
Interview
i just walked in and filled out an application while i was there. went in the next day for interview. the hiring manager was very nice and friendly...easy to talk to. after we talked awhile i told him i was looking for full time work and wanted to make close to what i was making at my job before. he told me that this possition was only part time and only paid min wage. i thanked him for his time and he said he would get back to me..within a couple days he had called but i wasnt home, i wasnt going to call back because i was looking for full time work..i decided to just call him and tell him i wasnt going to take the cut in pay but when he answerd he told me he had a full time possition for me and it was only about 45 cents less than i was making before. sooooo in 2007 i started as a merchandise coordinator.
Interview process was straight forward and easy, she did not ask that many questions. I answered all of them and was offered the job on the spot. We had 4 hours of paid training before starting my first official shift
Was given the first interview and felt good about it then went to another one and the manager there is very uninterested in the applicants. Started to ask me what role I wanted as if I had a choice and I said whatever is fine and she looked unhappy with that answer
Easy and it was very quick. It was in person and it last for fifteen minutes the interview. It was only one interview process to get hired for the job.
