I recently went through the interview process for the Senior iOS Engineer role at MasterClass, and it was one of the best interview experiences I’ve ever had. From start to finish, the process was extremely well-organized and transparent. The recruiter did a fantastic job of keeping me informed at every stage and made sure I knew exactly what to expect. I had the following interviews before the offer stage: 1. Recruiter Call 2. Hiring Manager --- Virtual Onsite --- 3. System Design 4. Product Case Study (with PM) 5. Architecture Design 6. Live Coding Implementation 7. Code Review --- Virtual Onsite --- 8. VP of Engineering All the interviewers were very approachable and encouraging. Every conversation felt like talking to potential teammates. They asked thoughtful follow-up questions, and it was clear they cared as much about culture fit and collaboration as they did about technical skills. Overall, I left the process with a very positive impression of not only of the role, but of the company as a whole.
