Senior Java Web Applications Developer Interview

      20 Jun 2019
      Anonymous interview candidate
      Natick, MA
      No offer
      Positive experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at MathWorks (Natick, MA) in Jun 2019

      Interview

The interview process was pretty straight forward. With three telephonic rounds with the team lead, manager and the HR. Team lead one was the technical interview more focusing on the fundamentals. After clearing these three rounds, I was invited onsite. The onsite interview started with me giving a presentation on my background and projects which was followed by one to one rounds with the manager, two other lead developers and finally ending with the HR. Questions were mostly behavioral in nature with a few technical questions. After a week, the HR returned back saying that they found another candidate aligning more to what the team currently require. The only con was that the offered salary during the initial discussion was very low.
