The interview process started with an email to set up a virtual meeting. The interview was the basic virtual meeting. Feedback: There is an art to interviewing. Please learn about this to help in your success. Remember, interviewees are interviewing the team as well. When you set up an interview, it's appropriate to let the interviewee know who the other attendees are ahead of time. I communicated with 1 person, but there were 6 people on the interview invitation. Everyone should have their camera on, not their name in the box. If they don't have access to a working camera, they shouldn't attend. Everyone in the interview should engage with the interviewee. Attending an interview and staring into the camera and not engaging is awkward and can appear unprofessional. Make sure to review the candidates resume and ask questions based on the experience. Ask questions that are thought provoking and tie back to the organization's mission and vision. Asking basic questions that indicate a scripted response let me know this position was not the right fit for me.
