I was initially contacted by a recruiter who told me that I would be a great fit for the role. The interview process included two phone interviews, two video interviews, and an assessment, which felt excessive for a low-level position with a relatively low salary. The interviews themselves were fairly standard and the interviewers were generally pleasant. Throughout the process I was repeatedly reassured that I was a strong candidate for the role by the recruiter and the hiring manager. However, after the fourth and final interview, I received a generic rejection email with no feedback. To my surprise, I was later contacted by the same recruiter asking me again if I would be interested in the position because I was a great fit—despite having already been rejected. Overall, the experience left me with the impression of an unorganized company that may not have a clear understanding of their hiring needs and is not respectful of candidates' time.
