I applied in-person. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at McDonald's (Toronto, ON)
Interview
They don't care who they hire, they just need more people. Very high turn over rate. Most people working are also just doing it because there are no other options for them... It's fine as a last resort, but not a good job.
Lot's of questions
Practical test and psychological test. pretty tough.
Had to meet many employees and make sure we can satisfy patrons.
Tested on knowledge of my cooking and baking.
It was all a very good process. They were very nice and they also were very pleasant to talk to. They wanted to let me have the job and it was very refreshing to be around someone who is so kind.
It was good felt good. They took time to inform me. And ask good questions and good on-boarding and ir was overall good no complaints. I would repcmed to others and they are good
