      Application

I applied online. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at MedReach (Compton, CA)

      Interview

Placed an online application and got a call the next day for an interview. The people work there seem nice, when they saw me waiting in the reception area they all wished me good luck--although there was a decent amount of swearing among casual co worker conversations. Was given an assessment test (medium difficulty NREMT questions) and when I turned that in I waited for a few more minutes-- perhaps they were grading the test. David the Ops manager came out and took me to his office. Started with "tell me a little about yourself". He returned my answer by telling me about himself and started a decent length explanation on benefits and salaries. They are mostly IFT and some back up 991 with Compton Fire (I believe). Turns out I did really well on the test (only missed one) and I assume because of that I was hired on the spot. I recommend dressing up for the interview, they seem to care a lot about their professional appearance-- company pays for cleaning and pressing the uniforms. And definitely review your notes.

      Interview

Interview process was very straightforward, answer a lot of questions about yourself and ensure you are seen as a well rounded individual. I had a great experience, also expect a short written test of basic EMT knowledge

      Interview

Took a 30 question multiple choice test. Easy. Basic EMT knowledge. Once that was done, interview was basically a sales pitch. Actually said that there is a shortage of EMTs everywhere.
