      Recruiter Interview

      1 Nov 2023
      Anonymous interview candidate
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Easy interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Medasource

      Interview

I interviewed with an internal recruiter and then with a team of managers. They sent me information to read. Everyone was easygoing and personable, and the interviews were pretty easy. They said I’d hear back from their internal hiring team. I received a generic email (with a typo) two days later saying that my experience and skills were impressive but were not a good match for them (which likely means that they thought other candidates fit their culture better). I tried to send an email back to thank them and ask what I could improve on, but I received a message back saying I was blocked. I have never had that happen before and thought it was unprofessional. I rescheduled work twice to interview with them and feel that it was disrespectful to receive such a generic message and then be blocked. I expected more from a company that is all about staffing. I also got the feeling that their recruiters need to meet their metrics so they send a lot of candidates up through the system. My advice is to be prepared but mostly try to relax and show your personality during the interview.
