I applied through a consultant and after one round of telephonic interview, they called me for face-to-face rounds. There were four rounds and all of them went good. Last round was a managerial one and it went very well. They assured me to get a feedback really soon. But after two whole weeks, the consultant informs me that they hired a candidate with a lesser salary, and that was the only reason for rejection. I conveyed my salary expectations at the very beginning of the process, but after a good interview, that was really unprofessional from their end.
