Medline Industries interview questions

1 round with 2 interviewers, purely behavioral with some knowledge questions about Excel, very typical behavioral questions such as tell me about yourself and tell me about a time etc.

Initially HR called for telephonic discussion. And later Technical interview was scheduled. Technical interview went for an hour. Questions were basic but there were lot of questions. No scenario based, just basic. It was kind of bookish interview questions that interviewer was reading out. I noticed she was reading questions from list as it was VC. I still have no idea why I wasn't hired as my interview went really well as I answered most of the questions though I felt the questions were too basic for the Job role and experience. Never got any updates and in portal I saw I was rejected. Later I came to know from my friend who was working there in functional unit, that there is a bias while hiring and the interviewer was interested in hiring female candidate as she herself was female manager.
